Implementation of business impact analyses
Background
The customer was pursuing the goal of carrying out a business impact analysis in its most important specialist areas. The focus was not only on the time-criticality of the business processes, but also on the resources required for emergency operations.
Solution
We started the project by conducting interviews with those responsible in the specialist departments. We used our BCM tool to carry out the business impact analysis. This enabled us to quickly and reliably identify the time-critical business processes and determine the emergency operation output with its resources.
With the help of our analysis, we were able to provide our client with an overview of the existing time-critical processes that should be continued in emergency operation. We also identified the essential resources.
