Workshop to discuss a crisis scenario
Background
A global pharmaceutical company hired the 3-core to conduct a crisis management exercise on cyber-attacks to review the company’s existing processes, identify weaknesses, prepare employees for real crisis situations and increase the efficiency of cooperation in Crisis.
Solution
The customer provided all relevant documents required for the preparation of the exercise. Coordination meetings took place to ensure that the exercise was well prepared and met the requirements of all the stakeholders. These preparations resulted in a four-hour workshop.
The workshop started with a welcome and introduction to familiarise participants with the process and provide an overview of the topic and objectives of the workshop. Subsequently, the most important tools and strategies for crisis management were presented and explained. After the theoretical part, an active exercise took place in which a crisis was simulated and discussed. The exercise was then reviewed and discussed. At the end of the workshop all important results were summarised.
Finally, a report was prepared and presented to the customer. The report is used to document the results of the exercise, record key findings and formulate suggestions for improvement. This follow-up provides the customer with a clear overview of the strengths and weaknesses of their processes as well as recommendations for action to optimise their crisis management processes.
