Accompaniment of the Tendering Process for a Security Service Contractor
Background:
The client’s requirements for their security service contractor had changed due to the installation of a new alarm monitoring centre and the expansion of their site. 3-core GmbH was asked to provide technical support for the tendering process starting from the request for services to awarding the contract.
Solution:
In consultation with the client, the requirements and qualifications of the security service contractor were defined. A service level agreement (SLA) was developed and expanded to include requirements for the start-up phase, quality management, training concept and reporting. On this basis, potential contractors were asked to submit an offer. Based on the technical knock-out criteria, only bidders who met the client’s requirements were admitted and presented to the clients. During the interview process of the potential security service contractor, possible deficits in the quality of services were addressed and clarified. After the awarding of the contract, 3-core GmbH supported the contractor in the start-up phase up to regular operation by providing training and workshops.
