Peripheral protection through technical options
Background
As part of a new construction project, the 3-core was asked to support the peripheral security of the factory premises.
Solution
As part of the consultancy assignment, 3-core prepared a report on the technical options for securing the periphery. Various options for technical perimeter security were analysed and assessed to determine the most efficient way of securing the outer skin for the site and the intended use.
At the beginning of the project, we carried out a risk analysis of the business impact, the hazards and threats from the environment as well as analysing the security situation and its forecast. The analyses were based on normative requirements.
Based on the risk analysis, the topography and the internal requirements of various stakeholders, we drew up recommendations for the technical protective measures for the peripheral protection of the factory premises. We then compared the various systems in terms of efficiency, benefits and cost-effectiveness.
At the end of the project, we prepared a report and a basis for decision-making for the management with a presentation within the management team.
